It Matters Whom You Marry by BY BISHOP FRANCIS WALE OKE "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2 Cor. 6:14)" If indeed you are a true child of God, then it matters whom you marry. As a believing parent, it matters whom your child marries. The matter of marriage is so central to a person’s life and future happiness, as well as the fulfillment of the plan and purpose of God for his or her life. It is an issue that should be given all the diligence and prayerfulness it deserves. Throughout the Scripture, God treats marriage as a serious matter. God’s covenant people in the Scripture gave the matter of marriage a very careful and proper attention. It was God that gave the Eve to Adam (Gen.2:18).
