Exodus 11:1 “And the LORD said unto
Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt;
afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely
thrust you out hence altogether.” (KJV)
Bondage is of the
devil. This is the first thing to know. God doesn’t create bondage for people;
rather it is the devil that put people in bondages.
James 1:17 “Every good
gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of
lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” (KJV)
Someone may ask if God
is a good God and He created the world and He gives good gifts, why do we have
all the troubles in the world? The answer is, the enemy – Satan has done this.
Evil prevail when good people do nothing or are lackadaisical about their
responsibilities.
John 10:10 “The thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they
might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Three
point agenda of the devil are:
- a. To Steal: example of things he steals are – joy, peace, wealth, health, sanity etc. once he steals, he replace with his instrument e.g. unrest, fear, poverty, sickness, pains, disease etc.
- b. To kill: the thief comes to kill your spiritual fervency, spiritual gifts, zeal, conscience etc.
- c. To Destroy: finally, to send such to hell.
Once you discover that
you are losing your peace and spiritual fervency, it’s a sign that Satan’s
ultimate plan is to destroy you. Start dealing with the enemy of your soul.
Whatever you tolerant, you deserves. If you will come to Jesus side, He will
help you out of that weakness; out of that sin; out of that prison that you
have found yourself. Jesus is still the way, truth and life (John 14:1). Come to
Him now while there’s time. He is more than willing to help you.
If you are going
through terrible weakness and your conscience is condemning you, know this God is
greater than your conscience. (1 John 3:20-21). Trust in the redemption plan of
God through his blood and your freedom will manifest.
Acts 4: 12 “Neither is
there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
The blood of Jesus is
God’s last card for your total freedom. Whatever the blood cannot solve,
nothing solves it. Therefore, trust in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. It’s
time to surrender to Jesus totally. Pray this with the depth of your heart:
LORD
JESUS, I believe that you died to save me from all my sins and I truly repent
from them. Come be my Lord and Saviour. I lay down my weaknesses and take up your
strength. Write my name in the book of life. Thank you for showing me mercy.
